Answering a transferred call with the handset

Announced transfer:

When the paged handset(s) ring(s) and the display(s) show(s) the following, press

(INTERCOM), or (SP-PHONE) to answer the page.

After the paging party hangs up, you can talk to the outside caller by pressing

or (SP-PHONE)

The paged handset(s) show(s):

—“INTERCOM FROM BASE” is displayed, when the base unit is paging a handset,

—

“GLOBAL CALL FROM BASE” is displayed, when the base unit is paging all

handsets,

—“INTERCOM FROM HANDSET 1” is displayed, when one handset is paging

another (Ex. Handset 1 is paging another handset), or

—“GLOBAL CALL FROM HANDSET 2” is displayed, when one handset is paging

another (Ex. Handset 2 is paging another handset).

Blind transfer:

When the transferred handset rings and the display shows the following, press

(INTERCOM)

or (SP-PHONE) to answer the call.

The transferred handset shows:

—

“TRANSFER FROM BASE” is displayed, when the base unit is paging a handset, or

—“TRANSFER FROM HANDSET 2” is displayed, when one handset is paging

another (Ex. Handset 2 is paging another handset).

Answering a transferred call with the base unit

Announced transfer:

When the other party’s voice is heard, talk into the MIC to answer the page.

When the base unit beeps, press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) or

(LOCATOR/INTERCOM) then talk into the

MIC to answer the page.

After the paging party hangs up, you can talk to the outside caller by pressing

(DIGITAL!SP-PHONE).

Blind transfer:

After the rings, press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) to answer the call.
