With the handset

Press (INTERCOM).

To page another handset or base unit:
Enter the desired unit number ((0) to (4)).
OR
Press to select the desired
unit number, and press .
To page all units:
Enter (*).
OR
Press to select “GLOBAL
PAGE”, and press .
•To stop paging, press (OFF/CLEAR).

To end the intercom, press (OFF/CLEAR).
•In step 2, if you do not press any buttons for 10 seconds, the display will return to
the standby mode.
•
If you page all units, you can only talk with the handset or base unit user who answers first.

Answering Intercom Calls
With the handset:
After the rings, press (INTERCOM)
, or (SP-PHONE).
To end the intercom, press (OFF/CLEAR).
The paged handset shows:
—“INTERCOM FROM BASE” is displayed, when the base unit is paging a handset,
—
“GLOBAL CALL FROM BASE” is displayed, when the base unit is paging all handsets,
—“INTERCOM FROM HANDSET 1” is displayed, when one handset is paging
another (Ex. Handset 1 is paging another handset), or
—“GLOBAL CALL FROM HANDSET 2” is displayed, when one handset is paging
all units (Ex. Handset 2 is paging all units).
With the base unit:
When the other party’s voice is heard, talk into the MIC.
OR
When the base unit beeps, press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) or
(LOCATOR/INTERCOM) then talk into the MIC.
To end the intercom, (LOCATOR/INTERCOM).
