Advanced Operation
During an intercom call:
If the handset user has difficulty hearing the base unit user, decrease the
base unit speaker volume by pressing
VOLUME Ö.
If incoming call tone sounds, an incoming call has been received.
To answer:
Press (OFF/CLEAR) twice, then press
or (SP-PHONE) on the handset.
OR
Press (LOCATOR/INTERCOM), then press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) on the base unit.
With the base unit

Press (LOCATOR/INTERCOM).
The base unit and handset beep for 20 seconds.
To stop paging, press (LOCATOR/INTERCOM).

When the other partys voice is heard, talk into the MIC.

To end the intercom, press (LOCATOR/INTERCOM).
If the handset user does not answer within 20 seconds, the base unit will
automatically stop paging the handset.
Using this feature, you can locate a misplaced handset.
Answering Intercom Calls
With the handset:
After the rings, press (INTERCOM), or
(SP-PHONE).
To end the intercom, press (OFF/CLEAR).
With the base unit:
After the rings, when the other partys voice is
heard, talk into the MIC.
To end the intercom, (LOCATOR/INTERCOM).

When the handset and base unit ringer volumes are set to OFF, they will not ring
