10.5 POLYCOM DESKTOP AND CONFERENCE PHONE SUPPORT
Discount Group = Support Services 6 (previously “NEC Provided 3”)
Polycom Phone support provides 24x7, remote technical assistance from NEC for priority 1
and 2 issues. It provides 8x5, remote technical assistance for priority 3 and 4 issues with
escalation to Polycom. It also provides 8x5xNext-Business-Day advanced replacement if the
need for replacement is determined by NEC Technical Assistance before 3:00 PM Central
Standard Time. Polycom Phone and Conference unit support must be purchased within
90 days of new product purchase and that support cannot lapse for more than 89 days.
Otherwise, support is not available. Minimum quantity of 100 units per order is required
for support and must include all phones and conference units located at the customer
site to be supported. The minimum order quantity can be a combination of desktop &
conference phones.
