Priority Definitions
 Priority 1: System is down or there is a critical impact to the Associate's business
operations. NEC and the Associate will commit necessary resources around the clock to
resolve the situation.
 Priority 2: Operation of an existing System is severely degraded, or significant aspects of
the Associate's business operation are being negatively impacted by unacceptable System
performance. NEC and the Associate will commit full-time resources during normal
business hours to resolve the situation.
 Priority 3: Operational performance of the System is impaired while most business
operations remain functional. NEC and the Associate are willing to commit resources
during normal business hours to restore service to satisfactory levels.
 Priority 4: Associate requires information or assistance on NEC Product capabilities,
installation, or configuration. There is clearly little or no impact to the Associate's business
operation. NEC and the Associate are willing to provide resources during normal business
hours to provide information or assistance as requested.
Software Version
 In order to obtain technical assistance, even if SSA coverage is current, the software
version of the 3C system must be within 2 major versions of the currently released version
(N -2)
Software Assurance Tracking
 Software Assurance terms can be tracked and automatic notifications of pending
expirations can be set up within NEC‟s InProvide system under the Software Assurance
view
 3C License Server is automatically updated by this information and sets licenses as
ACTIVE or INACTIVE based upon this information
