SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Always ensure that the selected power source is suitable for operang the cooler (see
technical data on the rang plate).
• Only use and transport the cooler in an upright posion. An angle of up to 35° is
permissible.
• Ensure that all connecon cables are rmly aached. Only unplug the connecon by
pulling on the plug itself, not on the cables.
• Ensure that venlaon slits are free of dirt and that the refrigeraon unit has adequate
venlaon.
• Never operate the unit with defecve connecng cables.
• Prevent hard or sharp objects from entering the venlaon slits.
• Protect the electric cooler from rain, moisture and spray water.
• Do not allow children to operate the unit unsupervised.
• Never open the cooling circuit.
• Never touch bare electric wires or contacts.
• When operang the unit on an AC power source, always be sure that the power source
is protected with an earth-fault switch.
• Disconnect the unit from the power source when it is not to be used for longer periods
of me.
• Before disposing an old appliance, please make sure it’s inoperave and safe. Unplug
the appliance and remove or destroy all of the springs, latches, or bolt-locks in order
to avoid the risk of child entrapment. It must be noted that the refrigeraon system
contains insulang gases and Refrigerants, which require specialized waste disposal.
The valuable materials contained in a refrigerator can be recycled. Contact your local
waste disposal center for proper disposal of an old appliance and contact your local
authority or your dealer if you have any queson. Please ensure that the pipe work
of your refrigerator does not get damaged prior to being picked up by the relevant
waste disposal center, and contribute to environmental awareness by insisng on an
appropriate, any-polluon method of disposal.
SET-UP AND CLEANING
1. Set-up
Place the unit on a solid oor or an appropriate surface where adequate inlet and outlet
venlaon is ensured.
A locaon in direct sunlight or in the immediate vicinity of heat sources, e.g. heaters, should
be avoided. The cooler should be set up such that it is protected from rain and spray water.
2. Cleaning
Please wipe out the cooler’s containers with a moist cloth prior to the unit’s rst usage. Never
use abrasive or causc agents. Wipe the cleaned surfaces dry with a so cloth. Use only clear
water to clean the lid’s seal. Rub talcum powder onto this seal from me to me.
Please be careful that water does not penetrate into the electronics located behind the
venlaon grille.
Useful advice:
Do not put open vessels of liquids directly into the cooler but rather always use the cool-
space only to cool closed containers such as boles, packaged products and so on.
