Step 3: Double-Hook Hardware Installation
Bottom Ladder Hardware (non-skid foot, non-rolling)
1. After the ladder is finished and assembled, take the non-skid foot and center it on the
bottom of the ladder side rail (Figure 1)
2. Mark the location of the non-skid foot and measure the distance from the front edge of
the ladder to the mark (Figure 2) 3. On the other ladder side rail measure use the same
measurement obtained on the other ladder side rail to locate the non-skid foot.
(The location of the non-skid feet on each of the ladder side rails should be the same)
4. Using a 5/16” drill bit, drill the holes for the ¼-20 KD bolt fasteners that will fasten the
non-skid foot to the bottom of the ladder.
(Be careful to drill the holes straight in the ladder side rail so that the bolt will line up with
the holes on both sides of the non-skid foot)
5. Use a 7/16” socket and a 4mm Allen wrench to fasten the KD bolts and acorn nuts
through the non-skid foot onto the ladder side rails (Figure 3)
Top Ladder Hardware (Double-Hook, non-adjustable upper guide)
1. After the non-skid feet are installed take the ladder and stand it up parallel to the wall in
its stored position, leaning on the mounting rail (Figure 4)
