QuickVue® Influenza
Nasal Swab Transport Tubes
25 foam-tipped nasal swabs inside plastic transport tubes.
For use with QuickVue Influenza and QuickVue Influenza A+B tests.
Specimens should be tested as soon as possible after collection. For appropriate storage conditions prior to testing, please refer to
the Specimen Collection and Handling section in the package insert.
Note: If dual testing for both influenza and RSV using the QuickVue Influenza A+B and RSV test kits, nasal swabs should not be used.
Nylon flocked nasopharyngeal swabs made by Copan Diagnostics are recommended for use. Nasopharyngeal (NP) swabs may be
ordered using Quidel Catalog #20226 (NP swabs only). These NP swabs are also available in dry transport tubes and may be ordered
through Diagnostic Hybrids Inc., or various distributors, using Copan Item #551C.
