Step 1 – Slide the upper arms

of the tool around threaded

portion of the fire sprinkler.

Step 2 – Push the tool forward

until it cannot go any further.

Step 3 – Squeeze the handle

until the tool locks in place.

You may need to remove the circular

disk around recessed sprinkler heads to

access the threaded portion of the head.

Adjustment

If the tool handle cannot be clamped or

is clamped and water is still flowing, the

screw at the end of the handle needs to

be adjusted to move the lower arm up or

down.
