Relieving Hydraulic Pressure from the Hydraulic Hoses
After placing both Frames on a Locking Position, customers occasionally fail to hold down the Down
Button for an extra five seconds to relieve the Hydraulic Pressure in the Hoses. Failure to do so makes
it extremely difficult to reconnect the Hydraulic Hoses after they have been disconnected.
Important Do
not
press the Seal on the Quick Disconnect Fittings in an effort to release the
pressure, Hydraulic Fluid will spray out from the Hydraulic Hoses while under pressure.
WARNING Hydraulic Fluid under pressure is dangerous. You must wear OSHA-approved
(publication 3151) Personal Protective Equipment
at all times
when handling
hydraulic components: eye protection and leather gloves are mandatory.
How to release Hydraulic Pressure from the Hydraulic Hoses:
1. Release the air pressure from the Air Cylinder by pressing the Pin in the Shrader Valve.
2. Reconnect the Hydraulic Hoses at the Quick-Disconnect Fittings.
3. Press Up on the Pendant Control to raise the Frames up and off the Locking Position.
4. Completely lower the Lift back to the ground.
5. Re-pressurize the Air Cylinder to 40-50 psi.
