3.0FrontPanelDisplay/KeypadOperation
TheQuestBACnetT‐Stathasa2X16characterbacklitLCDdisplayandfivebuttonsforstatusreviewand
programming.Thebacklitisnormallyoffbutwillturnonwithapress ofanykey.Thebackligh twillturn
offafterafewsecondsofnokeysbeingpressed.Thefirst
pressofthekeypadwillturnonthebacklight
andtelltheT‐Stattobe readyforadditionalkeypresses.Allkeyp adoperationdescribedbelowisafter
youpressandreleaseanykeytoenablethebacklight.
3.1RunMode
Thedisplaywillshowthecurrentdayoftheweekandtimealongwith
thezonesensorreadingonthetopline.Thesecondlinewillshowthe
systemstatusi.e.callingforcoolingorheatingalongwiththefan
statusofONorAuto.Additionalstatusinformationcanbereviewed
bypressingtheleftorrightarrow
keys.Thiswillcyclethedisplayonthesecondlinetoshow:Occupiedstatus,currentsetpoints,control
mode,Fanproofstatusandsupplyairreading.
3.2OccupiedOverride
PressthecenterbuttonuntiltheT‐Statasksifyouwanttoenter
occupiedoverridemode.ThedefaultvalueisNo,sousetheupor
downarrowtochangethevaluetoYes.Thenpressthecenterbutton
againtoacceptyourchoi c e.IfyouchooseYesthenthe
T‐Statwillbeinoccupiedoverridemodeforthe
programmeddelaytimeorunlesstheuserpressesthecenterbuttonagaintodi sable theoccupied
overridemode.
3.3AdjustingSetpoints
TheT‐Statwillallowuserstoadjustthesetpointsupordownbased
upontheallowableamountprogrammedintotheT‐Stat.Presseither
theupordownarrowuntiltheSetpoin tChangemessageappearson
lineone.Thenusetheup/downarrowstoincreaseordecreasethesetpoints.Note
boththeheatand
coolsetpointswillmovethesameamounttomaintainthefactoryspecifiedoperatingwindow.Thepre
programmedlimitwillpreventtheuserfromadjustingthesetpointsoutoftheallowablerange.Press
thecenterbuttontoacceptyourchanges.Thesechangeswillstay inplaceduring
theoccupiedhours
andresetwhentheStatgoesintounoccupied.IftheStatwasintheunoccupie dmodewhentheuser
pressedtheup/downarrowsitwillgointooccupiedoverridemode(sameaspr essing thecenterbutton)
andallowthesetpointadjustment.
3.4ProgrammingtheTStat
Pressandholdtheleftandrightarrowsimultaneouslyuntilthedis play
saysProgramChoices.Thescreenispasswordprotectedwiththe
factorydefaultpasswordof11.Usetheup/downarrowkeystochange
thepasswordvalueandpressthecenterbuttontologin.Passwordscan beturnedoffor
changedto
anyvaluefrom11to99viaBACnet.Fromthismenuusetheup/downarrowstonavigatetothe
AccessCode
11
