3.2RemoteUpdate

TheFLEX2supportsOTAfieldupgradesoftheresidentapplication.An overtheair FTP
connectionismadeovera n IP connection. Areplacementfileisthentransferred
fromaservertotheFLEX2andthatfilereplacesthepreviousapplicationimage.
3.3PowerModes

TheFLEX2 devicesupportsseveralpowermodesthataresetbyAT commands.
InfullpowermodetheGPSisactiveandthecellularsubsystem willmaintaina
persistentcellularconnectionwheneverserviceisavailable.IPconnection ismaintained
accordingtotheconfigurationofthedevice.


Thedevicecanbeputinlowpowermodewheneveritrunsonabackupbatteryoriftheexternal 
batteryis loworifitis notmoving.InlowpowermodetheGPSisnot  runningand theLED’s
areoff.Thedevicewouldreturntofull powerwheneveraneventoccursthattriggersareport.


Anyhardwareorsoftwareresetwillreturnthedevice tofullpowermode.
