Required Tools and Materials
You will need the following tools and materials to install the EdgeMarc:
 Ethernet cables—To connect the LAN ports to LAN switches or to individual
VoIP devices.
Power Surge Protection
EdgeMarc units are designed with a robust internal surge protection system. For
more effective surge protection, it is recommended that the EdgeMarc be
plugged into an external surge protector or UPS.
Installing EdgeMarc 6000 uCPE on a Desktop,
Shelf, or Tray
1. Remove the EdgeMarc device and accessories from the shipping container.
2. Place the device on a flat, dry surface such as a desktop, shelf, or tray.
