6.16 Status LEDs
The LMU-3040 and LMU-3240 have single dual color LED on the board, green and red. The device
firmware has individual controls for each color and can program each color individually or
together to generate green, red or amber. Currently the devices only display a solid amber light
to indicate if the device is powered on or off. There is no blinking pattern defined to indicate
GPS/Cell status or Vehicle Installation status.
Status LED Behavior
The LMU-3040™ contains one programmable dual-color status LED (amber and green).
Please note that there are PEG configuration parameters that can change the factory default
behavior of all LEDs. LED behavior detail can be reviewed in the table below:

6.17 Dual APN Mode
LMU-3240 supports DUAL APNs. One can be dedicated for Telematics data while the other can be
dedicated for a Wi-Fi hotspot. This is optional.
Note: When using DUAL APN Mode, Param 2306 must be programmed so the secondary APN can
establish a data connection. Because of this, it is always recommended to program PARAM 2306
for the AT&T SKU.
6.18 Version Reports (App Message 111)
Since the firmware versions strings are quite different between the LMU32 and EdgeCore
platforms, it is possible that the processing of LMDirect App Message 111 (Version Reports)
would require updating in order to properly parse the firmware version.
