3.3. Airplane Mode
The module provides a W_DISABLE1# pin to disable or enable airplane mode through hardware
operation.
See Chapter 4.4 for more details
3.4. Communication Interface with the Host
The module supports communicate through USB interfaces:
USB Mode
Supports all USB 2.0/3.0 features
Supports MBIM/QMI/QRTR/AT
USB is the default communication interface between the module and the host. It is suggested that
USB 2.0 interface be reserved for firmware upgrade.
3.5. Power Supply
3.5.1. Power Supply Pins

3.5.2. Reference Design for Power Supply
Power design is vital to the module, as the performance of the module largely depends on the power
source. If the voltage difference between the input and output is not too high, it is suggested that an LDO
be used when supplying power for the module. If there is a big voltage difference between the input
source and the desired output (VCC = 3.7 V Typ.), adding a buck DC-DC converter is preferred.
The following figure shows a reference design for +5 V input power source based on the DC-DC
TPS54319. The typical output of the power supply is about 3.7 V and the maximum load current is 3.0 A.
