The current consumption of BG95 series module in PSM is much lower than that in power off mode,
and this is because of the following two designs:
More internal power supplies are powered off in PSM.
Also the internal clock frequency is reduced in PSM.

The module’s USB and UART are disconnected and GSM network (if available) does not support
PSM.
