C.2.2 Serial Port Connectors
The serial port connectors consist of two 9-pin D-subminiature connectors.
Table C–2 lists the pin assignments. The baud rates supported by the system
for the serial ports are 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, and 38400.
Note
The system logically assigns COMx names to serial ports in the address
order 3F8h, 2F8h, 3E8h, and 2E8h. This occurs during each boot
process.
