Menus

The topics below describe the menus and menu items available in QuarkXPress.

QuarkXPress menu (macOS only)

The QuarkXPress menu is a part of QuarkXPress for macOS. This menu

contains the same commands as in the application menu for other macOS

applications — to hide or show QuarkXPress and other applications, to access

preferences, and to quit QuarkXPress. This menu includes the following

commands:

About QuarkXPress: Use this command to display information about ●

QuarkXPress, such as the version number.

Manage Account: Use this option to manage the subscriptions, and licenses ●

to different members of your team. It will redirect you to the license

management portal (https://myaccount.quark.com/account/login).

Activate QuarkXPress: Use this command to activate QuarkXPress on your ●

computer. Available only when QuarkXPress is running in demo mode.

Deactivate QuarkXPress: Use this command to deactivate QuarkXPress on ●

your computer. Available only when QuarkXPress is running in the activated

state.

Quark Cache Cleaner: Use this command to run the Quark Cache Cleaner ●

when the QuarkXPress application is invoked. You will be asked to save any

open projects. If any other version of QuarkXPress is also running at that

time, you will be asked to quit those applications before running the Quark

Cache Cleaner.

Check for Updates: Use this command to check for updates to QuarkXPress. ●
