The Setup drop-down menu also contains all output styles listed in the



Default Output Styles dialog box (Edit > Output Styles).

Choose Conventional or Printer from the Halftones drop-down menu. The 4

Conventional option uses QuarkXPress calculated halftone screen values.

The Printer option uses halftone screen values provided by the selected

printer; in this case, QuarkXPress does not send halftoning information.

To specify a line frequency other than the default value, enter a lines per inch 5

(lpi) value in the Frequency ﬁeld, or choose an option from the Frequency

drop-down menu.

Exporting layouts

Through Export, Print, and other commands, you can output ﬁles in the following

formats:

JPEG/PNG/TIFF ●
