Book Output Options
If you choose to ‘Continue From Previous Document‘, the new document will
start from where previous document finished. If you choose to ‘Continue From
Next Odd Page‘, the new document will begin from the next odd page. If you
choose to ‘Continue From Next Even Page‘, the new document will begin from
the next even page. You can choose to insert a blank page when you choose to
‘Continue From Next Odd Page‘ or ‘Continue From Next Even Page‘. All the
output options Print/ PDF/ ePub/ Export as Project will honor the defined page
order.
If blank pages are inserted during book output, local modifications to the
Table of Contents and Index entries will be lost while rebuilding the Table of
Contents and Index.
Creating indexes and tables of contents for books
QuarkXPress lets you generate an index and a table of contents for an entire
book. These functions are accomplished through the lists and indexing features
rather than through the Book palette. However, all the chapters in a book must
be Available to generate a complete list or index.
