process or spot inks.
CMYK: CMYK is a subtractive color model used by professional printers to

To select a color from a color matching system and add it to your color list,
choose one of the standardized color matching systems from the Model

Auto Color Name
In the previous versions of QuarkXPress, when we create a new color, the color
was created with the default name as ‘New Color’ and sometimes the designer
wants the color names like (e.g. R-200 G-50 B-60 or C10M5Y10K0) or with the
names by using the color % with an auto name. But there was no option and the
user have to enter it manually. It was a tedious job to modify the names
manually for all the colors.
Now, there is a ‘Auto Name‘ option in Edit Color dialog in QuarkXPress. When
you check the option, the name would be created as per the color is shown for
the color values of the selected color model.
Creating gradients
A gradient is a transition from one color to another. You can use the Gradients
palette (Window > Gradients) to create multi-color gradients, specifying the
gradient colors, their shades, opacity, the pattern in which they blend, and the
angle at which they blend relative to the box or line. A gradient can contain any
colors available in a project.
To create a multi-color gradient:
Open the Gradients palette (Window > Gradients). 1
