Bookmarks can be imported from InDesign files in QuarkXPress. The
bookmark hierarchy and bookmark names are retained on importing the
InDesign file. Thereafter, the user can edit the bookmarks, rearrange the
bookmarks, delete the bookmarks, and double-click on the bookmarks in the
bookmark palette to navigate to the corresponding bookmarks in the layout.
Users can multi-select contiguous or non-contiguous bookmarks of the
same parent or different parents, single and nested in the Bookmarks palette,
and can delete them.
Users will see the page number and bookmark name in the tooltips on the
mouse hover over bookmarks in the bookmarks palette.
Bookmarks are retained but their hierarchy is not maintained while cloning
documents in QuarkXPress. All bookmarks appear at the 0th level in the
cloned document.
Bookmarks can be imported from and also exported as XPress Tags. The
bookmark hierarchy and bookmark names are retained on importing the
XPress Tags file. The user can double-click on the bookmark in the
bookmarks palette to navigate to the corresponding bookmark in the layout.
Bookmarks are retained on linking and unlinking text boxes using Linkster.
The bookmark hierarchy and bookmark names are retained.
Bookmarks can be created/edited/ rearranged/deleted in Story Editor view.
