Alternative Fractions: Replaces figure separated by a slash with an
alternative form. Displays a fraction by using a horizontal dividing line (nut
fraction) instead of a slant or slash. It is very useful to write mathematical
expressions. It is available in the Alternate’s subgroup under OpenType
Styles.
Petite Capitals: Some fonts contain an additional size of capital letters,
shorter than the regular small caps to better harmonize with lowercase text
than the taller small caps. This feature turns lowercase characters into petite
capitals. Petite Capitals is available in Capitals subgroup under OpenType
Styles. It will override all the other Capital OpenType features.
Historical Ligatures: This feature replaces the default ligatures and character
combinations with the corresponding historical ligatures. These ligatures
were in common use in the past. Some fonts include the historical forms as
alternates, so they can be used for a ‘period’ effect. It is available in the
Ligature’s subgroup under OpenType Styles.
Use the Find/Change dialog to search/replace text that has specified OpenType
features applied; or search/replace OpenType features.
