Edit Color dialog box
Editing of the Colors
Prior to QuarkXPress 2019 (v15.1), if the user wants to edit the color, he has to
invoke the contextual menu on the selected color and select the option Edit and
modify the color, or go to edit menu, select the colors, and then select the edit
and modify the color. It was really painful for the user to perform multiple steps.
To reduce the time-consuming effort to modify the colors, in QuarkXPress 2019
(v15.1), we are providing the option (double-click) on selected color to invoke
the edit color dialog and the user can simply edit the color on the go.
How to use it?
Select the editable colors and double-click it. The edit color dialog would 1
invoke.
Select the non-editable colors and double-click it. The duplicate dialog 2
would invoke.
The user can use all the color libraries, colors with undo and redo. 3
Open the legacy projects which are having lots of colors and double-click the 4
colors to view the color editing.
Duplicating a color
To duplicate an existing color, choose Edit > Colors, select the color you want to
duplicate from the Colors list, then click Duplicate to display the Edit Color
dialog box for the duplicate color.
