2 To deﬁne speciﬁc attributes as you create the star burst box, select the

Starburst tool, and then position the crosshair pointer where you want the

star-shaped box and click once. When the Starburst dialog box displays, enter

values for the following ﬁelds, and then click OK:

Star Width ●

Star Height ●

Number of Spikes ●

Spike Depth: Enter the desired distance from the tip of the spike to the base ●

of the spike as a percentage.

Random Spikes: Enter a value between 0 and 100, where 0 is no randomness ●

applied and 100 is full randomness applied.

Use the following tools to quickly and easily create different shapes:

Using the Star tool

To create a star shape in two ways:

1 Select the Star tool , position the crosshair pointer where you want the

star and then click and drag.

2 Select the Star tool , position the crosshair pointer where you want the star

and click once. The Create Star dialog box displays:
