Adding a slideshow to a Blio eBook
A slideshow is a series of images that display in a single box. An end user can click a play
button in the exported eBook and view the images one after the other.
To create a slideshow:
1
Draw a picture box with the size and location you want to use for the slideshow.
2
Choose the picture files you want to put in the slideshow and put them into a folder.
For Blio export, the application supports only the BMP, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF formats.
3
Use an image-editing application or the QuarkXPress Save Picture feature (File > Save
Picture) to resize and crop the pictures so that if you import them at a scale of 100%, they
fit perfectly in the picture box.
4
Slideshows present picture files in alphabetical order, so name the picture files in the order
you want them to appear. (One way to do this is to put a number at the beginning of each
picture file's name.)
5
Select the picture box and choose Item > Digital Publishing > Edit Blio Interactivity.
The Interactive Attributes dialog box displays.
6
Choose SlideShow from the Type drop-down menu.
