Picture Scale controls in Reflow Tagging palette

You can change the scaling or cropping of a picture in layout view without erasing any

changes you've made in Reflow view.

To change the export settings for an individual picture component, select the component

in the Reflow Tagging palette and then click Edit Properties . The Edit Picture

Component Properties dialog box displays.

To use the image properties specified when you export the file, click Use Global Settings.

To use specific resolution, format, and image quality settings, click Use Custom Settings

For This Image. You can override these settings when you export; for more information,

see "Exporting for ePub" and "Exporting for Kindle"

To delete a component from a reflow article, select the component in the Reflow Tagging

palette and then click Delete Item .

Updating content in Reflow view

Ideally, content should be final in the layout before you start creating a reflow article from

that content. However, of course, things don't always work out that way. If you make
