If you want to monitor the overall appearance of a page as you edit its text at an
easy-to-view size, you can position a Story Editor window next to a layout window
that shows the same story.

View sets
The View menu provides various options for how a layout displays. You can display
or hide guides, grids, invisible characters, visual indicators, and more. (For more
information, see “View menu.”) The View Sets feature lets you store and recall
different combinations of these settings. The settings that are stored in a view set
are as follows:
View > Guides
View > Page Grids
View > Text Box Grids
View > Rulers
View > Ruler Direction
View > Visual Indicators
View > Invisibles
View > Trim View
View > Hide Suppressed
