and click once. When the Starburst dialog box displays, enter values for the
following fields, and then click OK:
Star Width •
Star Height •
Number of Spikes •
Spike Depth: Enter the desired distance from the tip of the spike to the base of •
the spike as a percentage.
Random Spikes: Enter a value between 0 and 100, where 0 is no randomness •
applied and 100 is full randomness applied.
ShapeMaker tools
Use the following tools to quickly and easily create different shapes:
Star tool •
Polygon tool •
Rounded Rectangle tool •
Diamond tool •
Triangle tool •
Wave tool •
Spiral tool •
Cloud tool •
Press the m key to toggle through the different shape tools.
You can also access the ShapeMaker tools by selecting Utilities > ShapeMaker. See
“ShapeMaker.”
Using the Star tool
To create a star shape in two ways:
1 Select the Star tool , position the crosshair pointer where you want the star
and then click and drag.
2 Select the Star tool , position the crosshair pointer where you want the star
and click once. The Create Star dialog box displays:
