Rectangles tab of ShapeMaker dialog box
Specify the settings for the rectangle:
Check Same for all to configure all four corners of the shape with a single set of
controls. To separately configure each corner of the box uncheck Same for all.
Use the drop-down menus to specify a corner type (Normal, Rounded, Beveled,
Concave, Pointed, or Inset) and a diameter (for options that involve a
diameter).
Curvature: Controls how curved the corners are if you select an option that
includes curvature.
Balance: For some options, lets you control whether the corners lean toward the
sides of the box or toward the top.
Radial: For some options, lets you control whether the corners of the box are
aligned with the center of the box or not.
Once you have defined the attributes, you can click the Add Preset button to
save this shape.
To revert to the default shape, click the Reset button, .
To delete a predefined shape, hold down the Alt/Option key while selecting it from
the list.
Working with lines
There are two types of lines: Straight and Bézier lines. You can apply colors and line
styles to any type of line.
