Mapping style sheets to Reflow tags
By default, when you copy content from a layout view to Reflow view, all of the content
is copied as Body paragraphs inside of Body components, and only type styling (such
as bold and italic) is captured. However, you can use mapping rules to tag content in
Reflow view based on the style sheets applied to that content in layout view.
To map style sheets to Reflow tags:
1
Choose Item > Digital Publishing > Reflow Tag Mapping or click Edit Reflow Tag
Mapping in the Reflow Tagging palette (Window menu). The Edit Reflow Tag
Mapping dialog box displays.
Edit Reflow Tag Mapping dialog box
In this dialog box, the Style Sheet column lists each of the paragraph style sheets in
the active project. The Reflow Tag column provides a drop-down menu that lists all
paragraph tags that are available in Reflow view.
2
Select a style sheet in the Style Sheet column, then choose the Reflow tag you want
to map that style sheet to in the Reflow Tag column. If you don't want text that uses
the style sheet to be copied to a Reflow article at all, choose Don't Extract.
3
Repeat the previous step for each style sheet you want to map to a Reflow tag other
than Body.
4
Click OK.
5
Add your content to Reflow view. (For more information, see "Creating reflow articles"
and "Adding content to a reflow article.") QuarkXPress uses the mapping rules you created
to determine how Reflow tags are applied.
