Creating a reflow article from a selection
To create a reflow article from one or more selected items:
1
Finalize all text you want to put in the reflow view. (You can update the contents of a
reflow view, but if you do, you will lose any additional formatting you've done in the
reflow view.)
2
Display the Reflow Tagging palette (Window menu).
3
There are several ways to add selected content to reflow view:
To create a new article from a selection, select the boxes that contain the target content
and choose Item > Digital Publishing > Add to Reflow View > New Article or click New
Article in the Reflow Tagging palette. QuarkXPress creates a new reflow article and
inserts all of the text and pictures in the selected boxes.
To add content to an existing article, select the boxes that contain the target content and
choose Item > Digital Publishing > Add to Reflow View > [Article Name] or click Add
Item in the Reflow Tagging palette. QuarkXPress adds the content to the end of the
selected reflow article.
To create a new article from multiple pages of content, choose Layout > Add Pages To
Reflow View. In the Add Pages to Reflow dialog box, you can choose the pages you want
to add, and indicate whether you want to turn them into a single article or into an article
for each spread.
