Scheduling a script
You can execute scripts in two ways. You can run a script manually from within
QuarkXPress Server Manager Scripting Environment or you can schedule a script to execute
at specific intervals. To schedule a script:

Display the script in the Script Content area of the QuarkXPress Server Manager Scripting
Environment window.

Save the script.

Click the Schedule Script button . The Schedule Script dialog box displays.

Click Schedule Based and then enter a start date and time.
• To schedule the script to execute once, click Once. The script will execute at the scheduled
time.
• To schedule the script to run at regular intervals, click Recurring every and then use the
corresponding controls to specify how often the script should run. Check End Time to
specify that the script should stop repeating on a particular date and time. Check Max
Count to specify that the script should run only a particular number of times.
