Copy the Quark Publishing Platform 11.0 Database Upgrader to the computer where
the database is, then use the Upgrader to upgrade the database from 10.5.x to 11.0.
Upgrading the Quark Publishing Platform database from 9.5.x to 11.0: Oracle
To update the Oracle version of the QPS database from 9.5, 9.5.1, 8.5.1.1, 9.5.2, 9.5.2.1,
9.5.3, 9.5.4 or 9.5.4.1 to Quark Publishing Platform 11.0:

Shut down QPS Server.

Back up the Oracle database.

Use the QPS Server 9.5.4 Database Upgrader to upgrade the database from 9.5 to 9.5.4.

Use the QPS Server 10.1 Database Upgrader to upgrade the database from 9.5.4 to 10.1.

Use the QPP Server 10.5.x Datanase Upgrader to upgrade the database from 10.1 to
10.5.x.

Copy the Quark Publishing Platform 11.0 Database Upgrader to the computer where
the database is, then use the Upgrader to upgrade the database from 10.5.x to 11.0.
Upgrading Quark Publishing Platform XTensions for QXP Server from 9.5.x to 11.0
To upgrade QPS XTensions software for QuarkXPress Server from 9.5, 9.5.1, 9.5.1.1,
9.5.2, 9.5.2.1, 9.5.3, 9.5.4 or 9.5.4.1 to Quark Publishing Platform 11.0:

Uninstall the QPS XTensions modules for QuarkXPress Server 9.5.x.

Install QuarkXPress Server 11.0.1.
The QPP XTensions will also be installed by the QuarkXPress Server 11.0.1
installer.There is no separate installer for QPP XTensions in 11.0.1.
Upgrading Quark Publishing Platform clients from 9.5.x to 11.0
To upgrade QPS clients from 9.5.x to Quark Publishing Platform 11.0:

Uninstall all QPS 9.5.x client applications.

Install QuarkXPress 11.0.1. (An installer is available for 11.0.1 QuarkXPress).

Install QuarkCopyDesk 11.0.1.

Install Quark Publishing Platform Client 11.0. This installer will install the Quark
Publishing Platform XTensions modules for QuarkXPress and QuarkCopyDesk.
