Updating Quark Publishing Platform
9.5.x, to 11.0
There is no upgrader for Quark Publishing Platform Client. To upgrade, simply install
the new version as described in the "Installing Quark Publishing Platform Client" section
of the Quark Publishing Platform ReadMe
Upgrading Quark Publishing Platorm Server from 9.5.x to 11.0
To upgrade Quark Publishing Platform Server 9.5, 9.5.1, 9.5.1.1, 9.5.2, 9.5.2.1, 9.5.3,
9.5.4 or 9.5.4.1 to Quark Publishing Platform 11.0:

Check in all assets.

Shut down QPS Server.

Make a backup of the "QPS Server" folder.

Use the QPS Server 9.5.4 Upgrader to upgrade QPP Server from 9.5 to 9.5.4.

Use the QPP Server 10.1 Upgrader to upgrade QPS Server from 9.5.4 to 10.1.

Use the QPP Server 10.5.x Upgrader to upgrade QPS Server from 10.1 to 10.5.x.

Use the Quark Publishing Platform 11.0 Upgrader to upgrade from QPS Server 10.5.x
to Quark Publishing Platform 11.0.
Upgrading the Quark Publishing Platform database from 9.5.x to 11.0: MSSQL
To update the MSSQL Server version of the QPS database from 9.5, 9.5.1, 9.5.1.1, 9.5.2,
9.5.2.1, 9.5.3, 9.5.4 or 9.5.4.1 to Quark Publishing Platform 11.0:

Shut down QPS Server.

Back up the MSSQL Server database.

Use the QPS Server 9.5.4 Database Upgrader to upgrade the database from 9.5 to 9.5.4.

Use the QPS Server 10.1 Database Upgrader to upgrade the database from 9.5.4 to 10.1.

Use the QPP Server 10.5.x Datanase Upgrader to upgrade the database from 10.1 to
10.5.x.
