Basic Operation

to activate the scan on B area. Both areas should scan simultaneously.

When the PTT is pressed to transmit on the Primary Frequency Area during a

scan, the Secondary area will stop scanning temporarily. When the PTT is released

at the end of transmission, scanning on Secondary area will resume.

During a scan, pressing the [SCAN] key will only stop the scan on the Area cur-

rently chosen.

▪

Pressing the [VFO/MR] key will also stop the scan in the currently chosen Area.

Important!

While scanning the Secondary frequency area, some settings on the

Primary frequency area will be prohibited. ese include Save Channel

(MEMCH), Scan Mode (SC-REV), Delete Channel (DEL-CH), Chan-

nel Name Edit (CH-NAME) and Repeater Mode Settings (RPT-SET).
