Introducing GMRS and the KG-905G
e General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) is a two way radio service that oers some
powerful benets. Users are allowed to transmit at high power, up to 50 watts, and use
advanced equipment, such as repeaters that enable you to transmit over large areas. e
GMRS requires the user to purchase a license, and a single license covers the user and
their extended family for 10 years.
e KG-905G was designed to allow you to take advantage of all that GMRS has to
oer and more. Right out of the box this radio is congured to allow you to transmit on
the 15 high powered GMRS simplex channels, 8 low powered simplex channels, as well
as the 8 repeater channels.

ing a channel, transmitting and receiving, and scanning.
