above .txt files to Google Earth view is GPSvisualizer:

Don’t be distracted by the ads. You drag your .txt file to the field that says “Browse…”
Click on “Create KML File” and the web page will change screens and present to you a name like:
20151020112033-60253-map.kmz (dot kmz is merely the compressed form of a dot kml file.) It is good
to memorize KML and KMZ as the files needed by Google Earth. You will need to put Google Earth onto
your computer. (Use Google to find where to download it. It’s free. )
This is typical of what Google Earth will present when you double-click on the file you get from that
website.
Notice that the path is above the ground and can be seen in 3D as you move your eye-point around.
The default in the website is to follow the contour of the ground which is necessary when displaying the
path your car takes, for example.
