Quantum DX100 Expansion Array, 8TB (raw), without installation service,
initial order;Add to initial order to expand the capacity of the D1U-32/500-C
non-factory racked system. Includes one 3U storage array with dual
controllers, 16 500GB SATA disk drives, and redundant power
supplies/fans. Provides approximately 6.5TB usable capacity with RAID 5
and one hot spare drive (factory default). Maximum 16 arrays. Requires 3U
rack space. Must order a 20-port Array Switch with the 9th array. Must order
one DX100 Power Accessory Kit D1U-PAK-A, -B, -C or -D (select according
to local power outlet type) when adding the 5th, 9th or 13th array. The
required DX100 system installation charge SN-DA-PNx includes the base
system plus up to two additional initial order expansion arrays installed at
the same time as the system. The SN-TC-PNx Field Add-on/Upgrade Trip
Charge will apply for initial installations that include more than two additional
initial order expansion arrays. Order D1/D3U-CE-A for each expansion array
to activate compression feature (base system must have D1U-CB-A DX100

Quantum Optyon In-line Data Compression for DX100 Base Systems, field
upgrade;For discontinued model D1-RAK-A Factory-Racked DX100 or D1-
32/250-N Non-Factory Racked DX100 systems. These systems did not ship
with compression adapters. Includes four Optyon data compression cards
each with dual 2Gbit/sec Fibre Channel host interface ports (eight total)
using LC connectors, and a base system license key with an 8TB raw
license certificate. Does not include Fibre Channel cables. Installation by
Quantum authorized personnel is required, is not included, and must be
