Fibre Channel 4
You can select the Fibre Channel parameters from On-board Remote
Management.
To select the Fibre Channel parameters:
1 From any page, click the
Configurations heading. The Configurations
screen displays.
2 Under
System Operations, select Fibre Channel.
3 Under
Fibre Channel, select the desired Topology.
•Auto Negotiate
• Peer to Peer
• Loop
• Loop ID
4 Under
Fibre Channel, select the desired Speed.
•Auto Negotiate
•1 Gig
•2 Gig
5 Click
submit.
Note: In a native Fibre Channel device, dynamic World Wide
Naming is supported.
Note: You must perform a system reset before the changes take
effect, or you can use the front panel to power cycle your
machine.
