Reset Configuration
Reset Configuration allows you to reset your library to the default settings. For more information of the
default values, refer to Setting up your Scalar 24
on page 19.
Path:
4 Press and to select the scanner
mode.
Available options are:
• Default: The scanner expects to read and
report to the host six characters. One or two
character optional media identifiers are not
reported.
• Media ID: The scanner expects to read and
report to the host seven or eight characters
(six plus the media identifier).
• Extended: The scanner reads and reports
between five and sixteen characters to the
host.
5 Press to highlight Execute ( ) and
then press .
Your barcode scanner is configured and ready
for use.
6 A confirmation screen displays. Press
to dismiss.
