Establishing a Cartridge
Rotation Reminder
Schedule 3
Regularly rotating your GoVault cartridges enhances your overall data
protection by maintaining multiple copies of your data on different
cartridges. You can configure the GoVault data protection software to
remind you that it is time to rotate your cartridges on one of three
schedules:
• Once a week, on any specified day
• Every specified number of days (1 through 31)
• After each successful backup task
To establish a cartridge rotation reminder schedule:
1 Click the GoVault data protection software
Options command button
to view the
Options dialog (see figure 49).
2 Click the
Rotation tab to view the Set Cartridge Rotation Reminder
dialog (see figure 50
).
