Pathlight VX Site Preparation Guide 23
Additional Rack Requirements
Verify the Pathlight VX rack meets these additional requirements:
• The rack has a reliable branch circuit ground connection available to all installed equipment. Do not
rely on a connection to a branch circuit, such as a power strip.
• The rack is mechanically anchored to the building structure to ensure stability in the event of an
earthquake. Prepare the installation site for mounting bolts to secure the stabilizer brackets to the
site floor.
• The rack ventilates from front to back, so adequate clearance is required to service and cool the
system.
