Problem Corrective Action
The GUI is blank. Confirm that power is on, then contact an
authorized field service engineer.
The GUI does not
respond to touch.
Contact an authorized field service engineer.
An error message
is displayed.
Write down the details of the error message,
including the SK, ASC, and ASCQ numeric
values.
Press Okay to clear the message.
Problem Corrective Action
The robot does not
move at power up.
Make sure that all internal packing materials
(foam pads and tie wraps) have been removed.
Check the
Stop and Standby buttons; make sure
the library is on-line and the
Stop button is
disabled.
The gripper
partially grips a
tape cartridge.
Issue a
Move Cartridge command to move the
cartridge from the gripper to an empty storage
bin.
The barcode reader
on the gripper
fails.
Verify that nothing obstructs the reader.
Then, restart the library. If the problem
continues, contact a field service engineer.
