The mean interval between failures of the library unit, less the tape
drives, is:
• 185,000 Power-On Hours (POH) Mean Time Between Failures
(MTBF),
or
• 1,000,000 Mean Load/Unload Cycles Between Failures
(MCBF),
where a failure is charged against one or the other, but not both.
Quantum|ATL does not warrant that predicted mean interval
between failures is representative of any particular unit installed
for customer use. Actual figures vary from unit to unit.
