Set the write-protect switch to the desired position (see
figure 20
).

Note:
This activity can take up to three minutes if the
cartridge is to be removed from the drive and the end
of data is at the end of the tape spool. Press any other
button to stop the operation.
Note:
Door Unlocked!
is always displayed when the
door is unlocked. The only way library operation will
be restored is to open and close one or both doors.
Note:
The tape is write-protected if the orange indicator is
visible.
The tape is write-enabled if the orange indicator is
not visible.
