Configuring the Date and 
Time

The date and time can be set from the DX3000/DX5000 system web 
pages. Setting the correct date and time allows the system to provide 
accurate reports when events occur on the system.

To access the Date and Time Configuration page:
1 In the Configuration page, click Date & Time.
The management frame displays the Date & Time Configuration page 
(see 
figure 30).
Network Mask
View or set the network mask for the DX3000/
DX5000 system
Link Speed & 
Duplex
View and set the link speed and duplex for the 
DX3000/DX5000 system (10/100/half/full/auto)
Note: If the system has DHCP enabled and cannot receive an IP 
address from the DHCP server, the system will reset back 
to the default IP address (10.1.1.1 for port 1 and 10.0.1.0 for 
port 2). If the port is DHCP enabled, the DHCP server 
provides the default gateway, domain name, and DNS IP 
address, even though the user has entered values for these 
fields.
