SNMP Page 3
SNMP is short for Simple Network Management Protocol, a set of
protocols
for managing complex networks. SNMP works by sending
messages, called protocol data units (PDUs), to different parts of a
network. SNMP-compliant devices, called agents, store data about
themselves in Management Information Bases (MIBs)
and return this
data to the SNMP requesters.
1 To access the SNMP page, from the Remote Alerts page, click the
SNMP tab.
The management frame displays the SNMP tab (see figure 56).

2 Enable the trap selections to be reported (see table 26):
Domain Name
Server IP
Address
View or set the domain name server IP address
for the DX-Series system.
