• Element Address
This field indicates the address of the element being reported by that
element descriptor.
• Access
An access bit value of 1 indicates that access to the element by a
medium transport element is allowed.
• Except
• When the element is in a normal state, it is set to zero
• When the element is in an abnormal state it is set to 1
• Information on the abnormal state is available in the Additional
Sense Code and Additional Sense Code Qualifier fields in that
element descriptor. For the meaning of the codes contained in the
2 Sense Code fields, see
Request Sense (03h) on page 75.
