The Density Select button is not
used
The lights show the actual density when the tape is
reading and writing. The lights are on steady and
Density Override is off.
The Density Select button is

and the selected tape density is 10.0 GB, then the
indicator next to 10.0 lights.

3. Density Override lights steady
For example, if the actual tape density is 10.0 and
the selected density is 6.0, 10.0 lights steady, 6.0
blinks, and Density Override lights steady.
To select density over the SCSI bus:
1. Do a SCSI MODE SELECT with the density you want. For more details, see
Chapter 8.
2. Write data to the tape from BOT.
